The Dubai Roads and Transport Committee (RTA) plans in the near future to pay special attention to the development of Dubai's water transport in order to improve the quality of services and increase the tourist attractiveness of this segment of the emirate's transport network.
As part of this strategy, the RTA recently signed an agreement with the Atlantis The Palm Hotel, whose main goal is to increase the level of services provided to Dubai's water taxi service by the hotel. This agreement covers the water route that connects Atlantis Hotel with Dubai Creek.
According to RTA spokesman Al Dosari, the committee plans to further expand its collaboration with Atlantis The Palm Hotel not only to the water taxi system, but also to other Dubai’s transport networks, thus encouraging tourists to use the emirate’s public transport system more actively.
