The final of the 16th Dubai World Cup in horse racing is scheduled for March 26, 2011

The Emirates Racing Authority (ERA) announced that the final of the 16th Dubai World Cup will be held on March 26, 2011. As usual, the most prestigious races of the world, held in Dubai, will end the season at the emirate’s largest racetrack - Meydan, where 20 races will be held.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the ERA, approved the dates and venues for the 2010/2011 races at the Jebel Ali Racecourse, Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, Meydan Racecourse and Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club. In the new season, the number of races will increase from 46 to 50.

The opening of the season, which is scheduled for November 5 this year, will again be held at the Jebel Ali Hippodrome. The total number of runs on it will be 11.
