GREEK CITIZEN FLYDUBAI CRASHED IN RUSSIA

Among the crew of the crashed FlyDubai, there was at least one citizen of the Russian Federation.

The crew of the crashed in Rostov-on-Don airliner FlyDubai airline consisted of citizens of various states. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a source in emergency services.

According to updated information, a Greek citizen commanded the aircraft. The crew consisted of two citizens of Spain, as well as one citizen of Russia, Colombia, Kazakhstan and the Seychelles.

The Boeing 737-800, flying from Dubai, crashed in Rostov-on-Don on Saturday night. The liner fell to the left of the airport runway when landing in conditions of poor visibility, in difficult weather conditions.

According to the Russian Investigative Committee, there were 62 people on board the aircraft, including 55 passengers. Among them, according to preliminary information, three citizens of Ukraine, one citizen of Uzbekistan and a citizen of India.

On the fact of the crash of the liner, the TFR opened a criminal case.
