The UAE President received Nazarbayev in his private Al-Mushrif Palace in the Emirate’s capital. During the working part of the meeting, the two presidents discussed a range of topical issues, including options for cooperation between countries, increasing interest in both countries by their residents, as well as international policy issues that interest both parties.
At a reception in honor of the President of Kazakhstan, Sheikh Khalifa expressed confidence that this visit was another important milestone in the development of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two friendly countries. For his part, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the obvious success of Abu Dhabi in conducting the Emirate stage of Formula 1. The reception and the dinner that followed were attended by a number of UAE federal ministers, senior officials and other officials.
