Dubai again excelled, adding a new world record to its piggy bank. The city held the largest ever existing parade of jet skis.
This achievement was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. The parade was attended by 129 jet skis. The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Youth Policy of Dubai on November 26, 2014.
Jet skiing is a very popular sport in the UAE, which is why the organizers of the parade had no difficulty setting a world record.
The parade was timed to coincide with one of the most favorite holidays of the emirates - the National Day of the UAE. Also, this event was commemorated by His Highness Sheikh Zayed ibn Sultan Al-Nahyan.
