A major fire destroyed part of the heritage village in the emirate of Sharjah

Part of the buildings in the Sharjah Emirate Heritage Village burned down during a serious fire.

Yesterday, November 18, at about 19:00, a major fire broke out in the Sharjah Emirate Heritage Village.

Emirate civil defense managed to localize a fire. According to Colonel Sami Khamis Al Nakbi, General Director of Civil Defense of Sharjah, no casualties were recorded during the incident.

He added that the fire started in the huts and quickly spread to the rest of the attraction, burning models of traditional housing.

Teams arrived at the scene in less than 4 minutes, but it took them an hour to stop the fire.
