UAE flag unfurled in the sky over London

As part of the celebration of National Day of the United Arab Emirates, the UAE flag was hoisted over the Ascot Racecourse in London.

Dubai police have taken the initiative to raise the UAE flag in the sky above London as part of the celebration of the 46th UAE National Day.

The first of its kind, a helicopter-led initiative led by captain-pilot Hamad Muhammad Al-Mazrui was coordinated by Lieutenant Abdullah Ahmad Sheikh.

The celebration in Great Britain began with the performance of the UAE national anthem in the presence of Sheikh Salem Al Mazrui, a member of the National Council, Azza Suleiman, Deputy Director General of the Department of Administration and a number of diplomats. This was followed by the dazzling performance of three helicopters warmly received by students and scientists of the country.

Ascot Racecourse was chosen as the venue for the event, since it was here that many achievements were achieved by the Emirate horses from Godolphin stables.

Dubai police recently adopted a strategy to increase the role of Dubai police as ambassadors of the country.
