In Dubai, a motorist who was locked inside his car in a flooded area had to be reached with a crane.

In Dubai, police conducted a rescue operation, rescuing a motorist who parked a car near the Hatta Valley, but was swept away by a strong stream of rainwater.

Colonel Ali Abdullah Al Kassabi Al Nakbi, the head of the rescue department for the maritime police operation, said the control center received information on Monday night that the car was stuck in the Hatta Valley. Marine and land-based rescue patrols deployed in the Hutt began searching the flooded region.

Al-Nakbi said rescuers had to use a crane to lift a car out of the valley. The driver thanked the rescue team for the quick response.
