Dubai restaurant offers free tea for all taxi drivers

One of Dubai's restaurants offers taxi drivers free tea and a discount on food.

A restaurant in Karama, Dubai, will give you a free taxi call for tea drivers. This was told by Ali Asgar, the owner of Kaati Express, located opposite the mosque in Shaikh Hamdan Colony. The proposal was agreed with the Dubai Taxi Corporation and the Emirate’s Roads and Transport Authority and is part of the loyalty program launched in 2017.

"The offer applies to all taxi drivers who are in uniform and on duty," Asger said.

In addition to a free cup of milk tea, taxi drivers can also take advantage of a 20 percent discount on food.

“Taxi drivers work for hours and in difficult conditions. They are constantly on the move and they don’t have time to take a break even for food,” Asger explains his desire to help people in this profession.
