Five-star hotel in Dubai changes its name and operator

Seven Tides has appointed a Spanish operator to manage a five-star hotel in Dubai.

Seven Tides, a luxury residential and hotel property developer, has approved the Spanish company Barceló Hotel Group as the new operator for its five-star DUKES Dubai hotel, located on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.

The hotel will be renamed DUKES Dubai - Royal Hideaway Hotel and will be the first hotel in the region under the Royal Hideaway Luxury Hotels & Resorts brand.

The Spanish hotel group began work after the signing of a management agreement between Seven Tides CEO Abdullah bin Sulay and Jaime Buxo, Chief Development Officer of Barceló Hotel Group.

Abdullah bin Sulayem emphasized that the Barceló Hotel Group is a dynamic and flexible hotel company that operates 249 hotels and luxury international resorts in 22 countries. The group also has a division that includes 700 travel agencies on four continents.

Barceló Hotel Group, founded in 1931, is the third largest chain in Spain and the 29th in the international market. She currently manages 54 thousand rooms.

DUKES Dubai offers 279 rooms, including 64 stylish suites and a female-only floor, as well as 287 fully furnished hotel suites.

The hotel has modern leisure and conference facilities, including a stunning private beach, an indoor pool, an outdoor infinity pool and a modern gym, as well as six unique restaurants.
