Hundreds of thousands of passengers flood Dubai Airport this weekend

Dubai International Airport has some of the busiest days of the year.

Airlines from the UAE advise residents departing from the country this weekend to leave for the airport earlier than usual, given the expected increase in passenger traffic ahead of the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Recall that employees of the public and private sectors in the UAE leave for a long weekend on June 2 and 3, respectively, and many of them have planned trips with their families.

According to Emirates, about half a million people will fly out of terminals at the Dubai International Airport in the coming days.

In this regard, representatives of Emirates and flydubai recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least three hours before the departure of their flight and check the information about their departure terminal before arriving at the airport.

Only on Friday, May 31, more than 80 thousand people are preparing to serve at Emirates Airline. On June 3, the number of passengers will increase to 309 thousand.
