Dubai will open the world's first healthy food restaurant for children

The world's first toddler healthy food restaurant opens in Dubai.

In response to the growing problem of the abundance of junk food and obesity in children and adolescents in the UAE, a couple of Hana al-Mullah and Saud Musabih last week announced the launch of their Dubai restaurant. The world's first child-friendly healthy food restaurant will open in the Jumeirah area by the end of July.

The restaurant, dubbed White and the Bear, will be the first children's restaurant in the world to serve only healthy and environmentally friendly dishes. The menu was developed in collaboration with renowned chef and UK baby food expert Annabelle Carmel.

According to Hana, the idea of the restaurant arose due to the lack of such establishments for families who are serious about developing healthy habits in their children.

From food to furniture - every detail in the new restaurant is tailored to the needs of children aged six months to eight years. The restaurant offers all little visitors a white apron. So that the children did not lose interest in her institution, Hana thought out interactive classes - for example, when ordering orange juice, clients can help with the preparation of the drink.

Annabelle Carmel said: "We wanted to create a healthy food restaurant that would give children a sense of independence. That's why we let them order from the menu ourselves."

Other items on the menu are spaghetti bolognese with vegetables and hamburgers made from carrots and apples.
