Cinema Magic evenings at Dubai International Financial Center

Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), which is not only the focus of international financial life, but also the cultural heart of the city, has announced a new program in collaboration with ICD Brookfield - Night of Movie Magic.

Movie lovers can enjoy the many Hollywood blockbusters in March and April for free. The first evening of cinema magic will take place on Wednesday, March 22 at 7 p.m., in the The Balcony area at DIFC Precinct Buildings.

The film “Mission Impossible: Phantom Protocol”, the 2011 blockbuster starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton and Simon Pegg, was selected as the first film to be shown. Several scenes of the fourth part of the franchise are set in Dubai, against the backdrop of the iconic Gate building.

Raja Al Matsruyi, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Communications, DIFC Authority, said: “Movie Nights is the latest addition to the DIFC social calendar, which shows the Center’s offerings not only in business and finance ... In combination with our excellent collection of art galleries, restaurants DIFC's world-class and other facilities are an ideal location in the city center. ”

A movie evening will also allow you to taste the refreshments of restaurants located next to The Balcony, each of which will offer its dishes at competitive prices. Bazxar will prepare an “Asian basket”, a “Meat region basket” and a “Bazxar Café basket”, and mini-sandwiches, sandwiches and french fries will be served at Dome Café. Visitors can also enjoy steak sandwiches, hamburgers and fries from The Steak Bar.

DIFC's reverent attitude towards art and culture is well known. Thousands of people regularly attend the Art Nights event, which twice a year provides a platform for artists from around the world. At the last session, the new DIFC Art Integration Program was launched, an initiative that confirms the status of DIFC as a regional center for art and culture.
