March 22, the World Orchestra of Doctors will perform at the Dubai Opera under the patronage of the Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Founded in 2007, the orchestra consists of more than 100 doctors from 50 countries who have replaced white robes with musical instruments. In Dubai, the orchestra will raise funds for the benefit of Al-Jalila's charity foundation.
Classical music lovers will hear the works of composers such as Beethoven and Mendelssohn. The world premiere of "Spiritual Positive", written by Jonathan Barrett and inspired by the ruler of Dubai, will also take place.
