In the period from October 3 to 6, Cinema Akil will show the famous film by Sergei Parajanov, "Color of the Pomegranate," recognized as a true classic of Russian cinema.
In the film, consisting of several miniatures, an attempt was made to show the spiritual world of the medieval Armenian poet Sayat-Nova, who wrote in Armenian, Georgian and Azerbaijani languages, the story of his love, the poet’s attitude to religion, secular power, and the people. In the absence of the usual literary monologue, all the decisions of the author of the film lie in a purely visual sphere.
