French band Nouvelle Vague will perform on June 25 at the Dubai Opera. The performance will take place as part of an international tour dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the team. The backbone of the Nouvelle Vague is composed of musicians Mark Collin, Olivier Libo, Camille and Melanie Payne.
The Nouvelle Vague project was created in 2003. The group specializes in performing covers of compositions by well-known bands working in the genres of punk, post-punk and new wave. Versions of Nouvelle Vague are strikingly different from the originals - the group arranges songs in the styles of bossa nova and lounge.
