Since 1928, the Atmos mechanism has kept its extraordinary secret: a mechanism that works without batteries, accumulators and electricity, as if living a special life.
The principle of its operation is truly ingenious: in a hermetically sealed capsule there is a mixture of gases that expand when the temperature rises and contract when it decreases. The capsule connected to the clockwork spring is deformed like bellows of the accordion, continuously turning the clockwork.
A temperature fluctuation of one degree is enough to provide the watch with a power reserve of two days. The balance of the movement makes only two vibrations per minute, while the number of vibrations of classic watches reaches 300 on average. At the same time, the movement consumes 250 more energy than the Atmos model.
Richard Mille Saint-Tropez
Summer is coming soon. The watch model RM 028 Saint-Tropez is a bright representative of watches in the "summer" style, they use fewer diamonds and implement more useful functions for diving.
The watch has a case diameter of 47 mm and a thickness of 14.6 mm. The case, consisting of three parts, its lower plate, ears and the rotor of the case are made of titanium. The rotor on the RMAS7 caliber, which is used in RM 028, is adjustable, which ensures effective rewinding of the spring, regardless of the intensity of the movements of the owner of the watch. In the design of the model, colors traditional for the marine theme were used - white and blue. They can be seen both on the internal details of the dial, and on the bezel marks.
The summer style of this watch is successfully complemented by technical details - it is a serious model for diving, equipped with all the necessary safety functions and allowing you to dive to a depth of 300 meters.

Watches without borders. The Swiss watch company Breitling has relied on a tachymeter in the new model of its watches. A "variable tachometer" measures any average speed value, going far beyond these limits.
The case of the novelty is durable and lightweight, has a diameter of 49 mm, a water resistance rating of 100 m. It is round in shape, made of titanium. The watch movement, dial and case are protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The logo engraving is located opposite the “3 o’clock” mark on the crown end.

The mechanism operates at a frequency of 18,000 pc / hour and provides a power reserve of up to 46 hours. It uses two winding drums, each with its own crown, located on the right side of the case. The bridge is engraved with the inscription "1956 Charge d'Affaires 2012".
The watch is released in a limited edition of 200 pieces in two versions: 150 pieces with an 18-carat rose gold case on a black alligator leather strap and an 18-carat gold clasp and 50 cases with an 18-carat white gold case and a similar strap.

Love for fast cars. Swiss watchmaker Michelle Parmigiani was so delighted with the new Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse supercar, which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show 2012, that together with his team he made and dedicated the stunning La Bugatti Vitesse watch to this car.
The model runs on the legendary PF372 movement and has an original perpendicular dial. In the forms and elements of the new watch, the smooth lines of the dashboard of the supercar of the same name are clearly guessed.
The case is made of titanium, and the texalium dial itself is a more reflective material than the carbon fiber traditionally used in Bugatti Super Sport cars.

The first special edition of the watch is the Luminor Marina in a polished steel case with a frosted crown protector. The watch has a classic black dial with elegant numbers and watch markers coated with Super-LumiNova® fluorescent material. In addition to them, on the dial there are inscriptions “Luminor Marina 'and' Panerai ', as well as the image of a torpedo that the Italian Navy divers in the 40s delivered to targets on their own. The first Panerai watches were designed for them. The hour and minute hands, as well as and the small second at the 9 o’clock position is also covered with luminescent material, which not only significantly improves the readability of the dial in any conditions, but also gives the watch an elegant vintage look, which is emphasized by the aged leather of the strap.
The second model is a Radiomir 10 Days GMT watch in a traditional pillow-shaped case made of polished steel. All elements of the black sandwich dial, like the hands, are coated with Super-LumiNova *: numbers, a linear indicator of the 10-day power reserve, a small second hand at 9 o’clock, a calendar and the inscription 'Radiomir Panerai'. Slow "runner". The Swiss watch company has announced the release of its next novelty - Slow Runner. Its originality lies in the caliber with a very low stroke frequency - 1 Hz. The transparent back case made of sapphire crystal allows you to watch the caliber with manual winding AM36.001. The mechanism is inserted into the 42mm case.
The convenient and easy-to-read dial is equipped with several additional dials. The window, located at the top of the main dial, is equipped with Roman numerals and two hands, designed to indicate hours and minutes. The model uses more arrows than usual, in order to emphasize the slow progress of the second hand. An arrow makes two small ticks per second. To indicate the 92-hour power reserve there is a separate dial at the mark “10 hours”.

Trocadero Lady Magic Flower. Saint Honore watch manufactory introduced feminine models of Trocadero Lady, which featured a delicate floral pattern on the dial. The watch based on the quartz movement is available in several versions: in a case with a diameter of 30 mm made of steel, which can have a PVD coating, with a dial of different colors. The large flower on the dial is made of mother of pearl. A small flower at the 6 o'clock position has the function of indicating seconds.
