Dubai, UAE. One of Dubai’s largest developers, Damac is in talks to build a synthetic ice rink in the open.
The sports facility is expected to be part of the Akoya project, a new residential area with villas and mid-rise buildings.
According to SmartRink, a company engaged in similar projects, the construction of a plastic ice rink can cost the developer US $ 12.5 per square foot of material that forms the artificial turf.
