Abu Dhabi, with an aggregate annual growth rate of 18.9% in the number of visitors from 2009 to 2016, has maintained its position as the fastest growing city in the Middle East and Africa and is the fourth city in the world with the fastest growing number of tourists.

According to Mastercard, last year Dubai attracted 14.87 million international visitors, and an increase of 7.7% is expected this year. Of the 10 leading cities this year, greater growth is expected only in Tokyo.
