Emirates from one UAE emirate will be able to go home for the holidays for free

In one of the UAE emirates, emigrant employees of a government agency are awarded free tickets to travel home to Eid al-Adha.

The Emirate’s Civil Defense Department of Umm al-Quwain, UAE, announced that it will hand out free tickets to its expat employees so they can head home for Eid al-Adha.

They will also be given gifts for wives and children. In addition, staff will be provided with a transfer to the airport.

The program is part of the Spend Eid Al-Adhi with Children initiative, which was launched by the Civil Defense Department to enable expats to spend time with their loved ones on holiday.

Lieutenant Salem Hamad bin Hamda, director of civil defense at Umm Al-Quwain, said the goal of such initiatives is to strengthen family ties and increase employee satisfaction and productivity over the long term.
